Mission Statement

“1614 Revival Foundation exists to empower survivors of domestic violence and violent crime through compassionate advocacy, mentorship, future transitional housing, affordable childcare, and community partnerships that create pathways to safety, healing, and lasting independence.”

1614 Revival Foundation exists to walk alongside survivors of domestic violence and other violent crimes with love, advocacy, and hope.

We are trained advocates, mentors, and a safe place in the middle of crisis. We meet individuals and families in some of the hardest moments of their lives and remain beside them as they navigate safety, healing, and rebuilding.

Our vision extends beyond crisis response. We are working to create transitional housing designed to serve families of all sizes including larger families who are often overlooked as well as affordable childcare that allows survivors to work, attend court, receive counseling, and rebuild their lives without choosing between safety and caring for their children.

Our mission is rooted in 1 Corinthians 16:14:
“Let all that you do be done in love.”
Everything we do flows from that love.

Because we don’t just provide resources we provide relationships.

Many of us understand the gaps in the system because we’ve experienced them ourselves. We know what it feels like to hear “there’s no room,” to face impossible decisions, or to walk through trauma feeling completely alone.

That’s why we do things differently.

We stay. We listen. We advocate. We mentor. We connect survivors to the resources they need and walk beside them through every step of the journey from survival to revival.

Through our partnership with FERN, survivors can access coordinated advocacy and support services in one place, helping reduce barriers and ensuring families receive compassionate, comprehensive care throughout their healing journey.

Right now, families in our own community are running out of safe options.

Too many mothers and children are forced to choose between remaining in dangerous situations, sleeping in their vehicles, staying in unsafe environments, or being separated because housing that accommodates larger families simply doesn’t exist.
Healing cannot begin without safety.

That is why we are building something different.

We are creating pathways to stability through advocacy, future transitional housing, affordable childcare, and long-term support that empowers families to reclaim their independence.

This is more than a nonprofit.

It is a movement to fill the gaps where others cannot, restore hope where it has been lost, and remind every survivor that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

This is more than our mission.

It is our calling.

And it takes a community to make it possible.
